Accessibility
1. Measures to support accessibility
Transit & Flow uses a combination of design standards, development practices, and content reviews to support an accessible experience across our website and online tools.
- Semantic HTML with descriptive headings and ARIA landmarks where appropriate
- Alternative text for meaningful images and icons
- Keyboard navigable menus, links, and controls with visible focus states
- Color contrast that targets WCAG 2.2 AA ratios
- Clear form labels, instructions, and error messaging
- Regular reviews when new content, features, or forms are added
2. Conformance status
Target standard: WCAG 2.2 Level AA
Current status: Partially conformant
Most primary content and navigation have been designed with WCAG 2.2 Level AA in mind. Some third party tools or older content may not yet meet the full criteria. Accessibility improvements are ongoing as we update layouts, forms, and service integrations.
3. Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology
The Transit & Flow website is tested with current versions of major desktop and mobile browsers. The site is designed to support keyboard only navigation and common screen readers. Older browsers or unsupported assistive technologies may not provide the best experience.
4. Technical specifications
Our website is built primarily with HTML, WAI ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript. These technologies support modern accessibility guidelines and allow us to deliver a responsive experience across devices.
Some integrated tools such as online booking, payment systems, or maps are provided by third party vendors. Those platforms maintain their own accessibility standards and may have different behaviors from the core Transit & Flow site.
5. Limitations and alternatives
While we work to maintain an accessible experience, the following areas may present limitations. We monitor these frequently and provide alternatives whenever possible.
- Third party booking pages. If you encounter an accessibility barrier while using Jobber or another scheduling tool, call (614) 333 8092 so we can schedule service directly by phone.
- Embedded maps. Maps may be more difficult for keyboard only or screen reader users. Our address and phone number are always listed in text as an alternative.
- Legacy PDFs and downloads. Documents created before a full accessibility review may not yet be completely accessible. Alternative formats can be provided by request.
6. Feedback and assistance
We welcome feedback about accessibility on the Transit & Flow website or in any of our digital tools. If you experience a barrier or need information in a different format, contact us using one of the options below.
